SERVICES

TAKING STRESS OUT OF FEEDING BABIES!

My services have been built on the need I see for parents to know they have options. Pediatricians generally can’t dedicate a lot of time to nutrition and feeding advice. And while breastfeeding is great for your baby, I also know it ruins a lot of women’s experience of being a mom because of the stress it can cause. I want to help you find the plan that works for you to show up as the mom you want to be while keeping your babies fed.

TESTIMONIALS

I saw Kristine right after delivering my baby, she was the first to recognize that I was slipping into PP anxiety and depression. She was attentive, listened well, and also didn’t hold back when I needed to hear the truth. She’s funny, direct, and so non-judgemental. Every first time mom needs to have a visit with her.

Kristine made me feel like I was a good mom no matter how I fed my baby. I was so wrapped up in making breastfeeding work that I couldn’t show up as the mom I wanted to be. She made space for me to cry, encouraged me, and ultimately helped me wean safely.

I was supported by Kristine in my 6 month exclusive breastfeeding journey. She helped me through the trauma of mastitis and clogged ducts and cheered me on as a mom with zero pressure on how my baby Violet was getting fed.

ABOUT

hi, I’m Kristine

My favorite title is mom. But importantly I am a registered nurse and IBCLC-credentialed lactation consultant. I look at health as a whole picture where all the emotional parts are as important as the physical ones. I have experience as a labor and delivery nurse, pediatric primary care nurse, and as a lactation consultant in a high-acuity hospital.

I have a deep understanding of the support moms need from pregnancy to sitting in a pediatric office with a child in their arms. I see you, I hear you, and I want you to know that you are not overlooked in the newborn stage especially. I aim to make my services feel like getting medically accurate information from a girlfriend you trust.

I don’t practice extremes when it comes to lactation, because Lord knows we don’t need any more polarization in this world! I’ll give you the evidence-based information straight and aim to never make you feel like you have to make a certain style of feeding your baby work when it compromises your mental health as a mom.
